Age 64, of Aiken, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born in Scranton, PA, Peg was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Howley) Allen, but was raised by her late aunt and uncle, Mary and Jack Curran. She worked as a secretary at Hudson Center for the State of Delaware for 10 years.

Her niece, Erin Allen, also predeceased her. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald D. McAlexander; her brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Marie Allen of Wilmington and their daughter, Theresa Allen and her children, Sophia and Antonio; her brother-in-law, Ralph McAlexander and his sons, David, Dale and Tom.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 7, at 1 pm at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Erin Allen Memorial Fund, 172 Oldbury Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808.
