Graveside services for Mrs. Birdie Irene Key Allen, 92 of Bernice, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 29, at Shiloh Cemetery in Bernice with the Rev. J.L. Foster officiating. Interment was under the directrion of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Allen died last Saturday at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home after a short illness.
A native of Bernice, she was a member of the Baptist Church and was a housewife.
Survivors include one son, Mr. W.S. Key of Houston, Arkansas; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Gordie Freeman of Monroe.
