Heart Attack Fatal To Edwin Cole
Ed Cole, 63, did suddenly Thursday of a heart attack. Mr. Cole, owner of the Cole Drug Co. and a resident of Big Timber for 22 years, had suffered a heart attack a little over a year ago but had recovered very well and had been in good health until the day of his death. He had complained of having a "touch of indigestion" Thursday morning but neither he nor his family was concerned about it. Mr. Cole died around noon, shortly after going home from work as usual.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the First Congregational church, Rev. Helmuth Fichtler officiating. Music was by Miss Blythe Browning who sang, "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "In the Garden." accompanied by Mrs. Harry Wordal at the organ.
Pallbearers were Peter Rostad, Lloyd Rein, Clive Haas, Edwin Webber, Ole Rodwol, and Barney Brannin. Interment was in Mountain View. Big Timber business places were closed during the services.
