Married Apr. 12, 1941∼MUNFORDVILLE — Van A. Logsdon, 87, of Munfordville died at 11:13 a.m. July 19, 2004, at Caverna Memorial Hospital. The Munfordville native was a retired farmer and carpenter and a member of Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher. He was a member of Munfordville Masonic Lodge F & AM since 1951. He was a son of the late Hayden Logsdon and Laruuna Logsdon and the husband of the late Nadine Wilson Logsdon. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Logsdon; three sisters, Minnie Robinson, Leona Middleton and Edith Noe; and five brothers, Dewey, Johnnie, Elbert, William and Thomas Logsdon. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Brooks Funeral Home, with burial in Munfordville Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is in progress until 9 p.m. today and will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Nadine Logsdon; a daughter, Janice M. Bunnell and her husband, David Lee, of Hardyville; two sons, Glendall Logsdon and his wife, Mary, of Mount Sherman and Darrell W. Logsdon and his wife, Colleen, of Munfordville; two sisters, Allie Reynolds and Margaret Puckett, both of Munfordville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
