Services for Rohe A. Schneider Jr., 54, of Wetzel Road, Liverpool, who died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital after becoming ill at work, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in King of Kings Lutheran Church, Liverpool. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse . Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Schneider was a life resident of the Cicero--Clay area.
He was employed in the maintenance department of Morgan Road Elementary School in the Liverpool school district for several years.
He was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, where he served as deacon and sang in the church choir.
Mr. Schneider was a member of Centerville Lodge 648 F&AM, and was active in the Boy Scouts of America and Pop Warner Football. He was an avid woodworker.
Surviving are his wife, the former Carol Hurley; a daughter, Sherri Schneider of Liverpool; three sons, Kenneth of Liverpool, David of Hastings and Richard of Baldwinsville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rohe Schneider Sr. of Clay; five brothers, Arlen of Florida, Dan of Naples, Gary of Baldwinsville, Stacy of Norwich and Francis of Elbridge; two sisters, Marie Donovan of Clay and Jackie Schneider of North Syracuse ; and 10 grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the King of Kings Lutheran Church Building Fund, 7470 Oswego Road, Liverpool 13090.
