Dick was raised in Palo Alto, CA. He lived in Fullerton, CA for 55 yrs. He graduated from Stanford in 1937 with a degree in EE. During WWll he was in the US Navy at Mare Island repairing ships returning from war. He retired as a Lt. Commander. He was Disneyland's head electrical engineer when it first opened. Later he worked on the Apollo Space Program at North American Rockwell and then CF Braun on their nuclear power plants. He was survived by 4 children, 5 grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
