DIED – JANUARY 29, 2007 ** HENRY LEE ADKINS, 79, of Wayne, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Born March 8, 1927. Preceded in death by his parents, Elba and Laura Finley Adkins; wife, Fern Fry Adkins; son, Henry Dale Adkins; sister, Kathy Hunter; and brothers, Jim Everett Harmon and George Thomas Adkins. Survivors include a daughter, Fannie Louise Adkins; sons, James Lyle (Margaret) Adkins, John Lee (Rita) Adkins, Charles Harmon (Ouida) Adkins, Donald Ray (Lisa) Adkins, and Gary Allen (Rita) Adkins; sister, Louise Stewart; brothers, Robert M. Adkins and Jack (Sherry) Adkins; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Burial was February 2, 2007, in Elmwood Cemetery.

HENRY LEE ADKINS, 79, of Wayne, went o be with the Lord Monday January 29, 2007 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Henry was born March 8, 1927 a son of the late Elba and Laura Finley Adkins. He was a truck driver for the Teamsters Union and a member of the Salem United Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Fry Adkins; one son, Henry Dale Adkins; one sister, Kathy Hunter; and three brothers, Jim, Everett Harmon, and George Thomas Adkins.

Henry is survived by one daughter, Fannie Louise Adkins or Lorain, OH: five sons, James Lyle Adkins and wife Margaret of Vermillion, OH, John Lee Adkins and wife Rita of Amherst, OH, Charles Harmon Adkins and wife Ouida of Vermillion, OH, Donald Ray Adkins and wife Lisa of Loraine, OH, and Gary Allen Adkins and wife Rita also of Lorain, OH. He is also survived by one sister, Louise Stewart of Duneden, FL; two brothers, Robert M. Adkins of Elyria, OH and Jack Adkins and wife Sherry of Delphos, OH. He also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of friends and family too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February, 2, 2007 at Johnson-Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors after 6 p.m. Thursday at he funeral home.
