Ruth Carlin Smith, 95, passed away on March 13, 2011. She is survived by son, Robert; daughters, Sheila Neely, Maureen Rieser, Nancy Stafford and Teri Lammert, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Smith MD, and Carole Smith, her oldest daughter. Originally from Cleveland Ohio, she moved to Atlanta in 1978 where she worked for the Union Oil Co. She retired at the age of 70. Funeral services were held at the Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home in Cleveland Ohio on March 16, 2011. She was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland Ohio in a family plot next to her husband. We all loved her very much and she will be greatly missed.
