Somewhere along the way, for some reason, John changed his last name from Schmitt to SMITH.
Catherine married Henry J Vierling on May 8, 1917 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Shakopee (Scott), MN. They had 2 children: Margaret C and Dorothy Barbara.
