Myrtie L. Hartzell, 91, formerly of Bethlehem and Williamsport, Lycoming County, died July 17 in LifeCare Center, Winter Haven, Florida. She was the wife of the late Rev. Ralph R. Hartzell.

Born in Bath, she was daughter of the late Mark and Lizzie (Bilheimer) Miltenberger. She was a volunteer for Muhlenberg Medical Center, Bethlehem, for more than 20 years. She was an officer on the boards of Missionary Society of Allentown conferences of the Ministerium of Pennsylvania, Luther Church Women of Central Pennsylvania Synod, Church Women United of Williamsport and YWCA, Williamsport.

Survivors: Son, John E. of Bartow, Fla; daughter Carol Dieffenbach of South Williamsport; brother, John of Nazareth; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday.

She is buried in the Mountain View Section of the Cemetery.
