Services for Mrs. Jean Riser Owens, 76, of Byram were held Friday at Chancellor Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Raymond Cemetery.
Mrs. Owens, a lifelong resident of Byram, was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Alex D. Owens Jr., and a son, Dale Owens.
She is survived by a daughter, Janelle Johnson of Byram; a son, Dean Owens of Kosciusko; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Henry Riser of Raymond.
