Kathryn Rosetta Zepp, of Crocker was born on December 29, 1922, at Crocker a daughter of Allen and Ova (Crews) Shaw and departed this life following a brief illness, on Thursday evening, July 28, 2010 in the St. John's Hospital, Springfield. Mrs. Zepp had attained the age of 87 years and 7 months.

Mrs. Zepp was united in marriage on August 17, 1952 to Harold Tobias Zepp who preceded her in death on January 21, 1996. In addition to her husband, Mrs Zepp was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Zepp on October 4, 2005; her parents; and two sisters, Glenna Pottinger and Christina (Toots) Peterson.

Mrs. Zepp was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dixon later moved her membership to the First Baptist Church, Crocker. She had worked as a secretary for the REA; the Lumber Company in Dixon: The Crocker MFA and later retiring from the Crocker School systems as well as being a loving and devoted homemaker.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs.Zepp include: two sons and daughters-in-law, ...; one sister Marilyn Daughtery, ...; six grandchildren ...; five great-great-grandchildren, ...; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Zepp at 2:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon, August 1, 2010, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home, Crocker with Rev. Don Kabel, First Baptist Church, Crocker officiating. Rita Street provided appropriate musical selections for the service.

Interment was in the Crocker Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Pallbearers for Mrs. Zepp were Mike Allen, Nathan Allen, Aaron Allen, Rick Ringer, Trent Harrison and Steve Shelton. Honorary pallbearers were granddaughters....
