Foell. She graduated from Clare High School at the age of 16 with the Class of 1941. She was married
on April 19, 1942, in Clare, to her loving husband of 57 years, Lowell G. Haring, who preceded her in
death on June 23, 1999.
Our Mother will be remembered for her work ethic and keeping our family moving forward in the home, in
the garden, in the fields and helping put the meat on the table with her marksmanship and fishing skills.
She loved to hunt and fish with Dad and still made time for us as when she would load us on the tractor
for an outing of fishing and a picnic lunch. Mushroom hunting and berry picking were additional outings
that provided special treats and traditions. Homemade ice cream, warm bread, cakes, pies, bread
pudding or rice pudding were some of the staple gifts of love she gave to our family and was generously
rewarded by our appetites and compliments. She never asked for nor was given much in material things
during those early, hard years and gave far more than she received. She will be greatly missed by her
family.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Clarence Eberhart, Lewis Eberhart and Stewart Eberhart.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, 3940 Peninsular Dr., Ste. 180, Grand Rapids, MI, 49546 as well as Hospice of Michigan, 900 E. Front St., Traverse City, MI, 49686.
