Mrs. Bessie Mae Ferguson Smith Wilson, age 57, of Cedartown, died early this morning in a local hospital.
Mrs. Wilson was born February 18, 1897 in Stilesboro, Georgia. She was the former Miss Bessie Mae Ferguson.
Survivors include her husband. Julius Wilson, three daughters, Mrs. Fred Forehand, of Bonisay, Florida, Mrs. Charles Tanner of Cedartown, and Mrs. Herbert Lewis of Cedartown, two sons, Charles William Smith, of Cedartown and Buddy Eugene Smith, of Marietta, two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Tanner and Mrs. Belle Smith, both of Cedartown, three brothers, John Ferguson, George Ferguson, both of Cedartown, and Harold Ferguson, of Knoxville, Tennessee and twelve grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. (Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., Front page, Wednesday, May 26, 1954)
