She was born at Anaconda September 30,1933, the daughter of Julian Samuel Armstrong and wife Edith Viola, nee Sohn.
On December 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Dennis Elver Rogers and two children were born to this union.
Mrs. Rogers was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church of Villa Ridge.
In recent years she worked as a caseworker for the Franklin County Board of the Development Services.
She also served as historian for the Anaconda Cemetery.
In earlier years, Mrs. Rogers served as a Brownie leader and a Cub Scout den mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Edith Armstrong.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Dennis Rogers, St. Clair; one son, Michael Rogers, Imperial Beach,California; one daughter, Pattie Rogers, St. Charles; one grandson, Michael Lee Rogers, Elk Grove, California; two brothers, Leonard Armstrong and wife Brenda, and Leroy Armstrong and wife Rhonda, all of Bourbon; one sister, Betty Rodgers and husband Bud, Sullivan; aunts; uncles; brothers- and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 26, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with Rev. Roger
Johnson officiating.
Interment was in Anaconda Cemetery, St. Clair.
Memorials to the Anaconda Cemetery are preferred.
