Rosa Ellen Bailey, wife of Austin Bailey, died at her home Friday morning, June 27, age 77 years, 4 months, and 9 days. She was a daughter of Joseph and Rebecca Jewell Scadden.
Survivors are her husband and the following children: Frank Bailey, Lloyd Bailey, Alonzo Bailey, Mrs. Lennie Elder and Mrs. Lena Rice, all of St. Marys; Leonard Bailey, at home; Mrs. Sarah Kimble and Mrs.
Annie Bailey, both of Hollidays Cove. Also one brother, Joseph Scadden and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Wells, both of St. Marys, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm at the Clay Point church. Interment was made in the Lamp Cemetery.
