Paul was the ninth of 13 children born to Albert Joseph and Mary Susan (Schmitt) Kopp. He married Donna Trende on August 9, 1950. They had 10 children: Steven P, Diane, Kenneth, Richard, Jean Ann, Joan Mary, Kevin Mark, Jeffrey, Judith Kay, and Duane.

Kopp, Paul J., age 75, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully at home with family and hospice care on Dec. 4, 2003. Member Teamsters Local #544 and U.S. Postal Service. Korean Conflict Vet. Over the years, Dad enjoyed and loved family functions, cars, motorcycles (Harleys), travel, thrasher gatherings, music and talking with people from all walks of life. Preceded in death by first son, Steven on July 23, 2003; his parents, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna; their children, Diane Remus, Kenneth, Richard, Joan (Joe) Sienko, Jean (Dale) Pearson, Kevin (Jean), Jeffrey, Judie Kopp- Anderson (Lee) and Duane; grandchildren, Nichole, Jason, Shana, Kelly, Brandon, Alexandra, Benjamin, Brittany, Morgan, Danielle and Cheyenne; great-grandchildren, Breanna and Kaylee; sisters, Phyllis (Urban) Willems, Louise Kopp, Marie (Dick) Cameron and Laura Barber; many nieces, nephews, family and friends, particularly longtime friend, Francis Marek. Special thanks to Hospice of the Lakes. Interment Guardian Angels Cemetery, Chaska. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 11:30 AM with visitation 1/2 hour prior to Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 13505 Excelsior Blvd., Mtka. Visitation also Sunday, 2-6 PM, with prayers 5:30 PM at: Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins 952-938-9020
