Elinore Piper
A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 27, at Daneland Mobile Home Park recreation center in Eugene for Elinore Shirley Elliott Piper of Eugene. She died April 21 of age-related causes at age 81.
She was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Stockton, Calif., to Elmer and Iris Cosens Elliott. She married Frederick Piper on Feb. 18, 1947, in Elmira.
She had a high school education and attended Sacred Heart Nursing School for two years. She worked as a medical transcriptionist for 17 years at Eugene Hospital and Clinic.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John of Eugene; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Roger, died Jan. 6, 2005.
Inurnment will be private. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
