DAVENPORT -- Mrs. Lois J. Timmerman, 72, Davenport, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, after an extended illness.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.

Mrs. Timmerman was employed at Sears Manufacturing, Davenport, before her retirement in 1991.

She was born March 4, 1928, in Davenport, to Herman and Caroline (LeFeber) Carstensen. She married Alfred Timmerman on March 1, 1952, in Davenport. He preceded her in death Dec. 15, 1979.

Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice.

Survivors include children and spouses, Terry and Marti Timmerman, Cathy Timmerman, Steve and Kathy Timmerman and Mike and Betsy Timmerman, all of Davenport; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Crews, Kathryn Schmidt and Charlotte Decker, all of Davenport, Mary Weber, Milan, Ill., and Barbara Neff, Davenport; a brother, Jake Carstensen, Bettendorf; and special friend, Lavonne Hart, Davenport.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Timmerman, in 1958.
