Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Watson Funeral Home for William J. Hill, 78, who died Thursday morning near Wilmington after a lengthy illness. The Rev. Larry Renner conducted the services and interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, S. Ralph Hill, of Delmar; Vernon B. Hill, of Lincoln; Mrs. Lettie Lipe, of Johnstown, N.Y.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Guy Hill, of Wilmington; three sisters, Mrs. Howard Allen, Seaford; Mrs. Herman Allen, Middletown, and Mrs. Hattie Ogden, Philadelphia.
