Mrs. Ora E. Showalter, 83, of Lake Worth, Fla., died at her residence Tuesday. She was formerly of Logansport and South Bend. She was born Sept. 6, 1880, in Carroll County, the daughter of James A. and Margaret M. (Stephens) Winegardner. Her husband, Frank A. Showalter, died in 1923.
She was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church, the Eastern Star of Young America and the South Bend
Dental Assistants Club.
Surviving are one daughter, Margaret C. Fross Miner, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. May Myers, of Anoka; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kroeger funeral home. Burial will be in Deer Creek cemetery.
