PAULDING ---- Lizzie S. Young, 98, died July 17, in the afternoon at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home where she had been a resident since 1984.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1890 in Alabama, the daughter of George and Katheine (Ricker) Gombert. On Feb. 23, 1922 she married Charles H. Young who died on April 12, 1963.
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelistic Luthern Church of Paulding, and Paulding VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Ralph Beckman and a daughter, Mrs Elmer (Mary) Hinschlager, both of Rt. 1, Paulding; one sister, Mrs Minnie Myers, Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne, seven grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, William and Paul, and two sisters, Mary McCall and Emma Gaston.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. July 21 at St. Paul's Lutheran Chruch, Paulding with Rev. Larry D. Hopkins officicating. Friends may call after 2:30 pm.m Thursday afternoon at Den Herder Funeral Home and after 8 a.m. until serivce time, and one hour before services at the church. Burial will be at Pleasant View in Latty Township, Paulding County.
Memorials may be made to Oesterman Home Fund.
