Marquis Stone Morris, age 90, of El Reno, died Saturday July 21, 1990 at Parkview Hospital in El Reno. He was born November 25, 1899. Mr. Morris graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City, he attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Mr. Morris was retired from a long career in banking in El Reno. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, the Amity Club and the Elks Lodge.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Vaught Morris, his parents F. H. and Lessie Stone Morris and his brother Ryan H. Morris. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bentley and his grandson, John Morris Bentley, all of Oklahoma City, and his sister, Mrs. Joseph M. Rector of Rancho Santa Fe, California. Services will be held 4 p.m. Monday, July 23, 1990, in the Abbey Mausoleum Chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City. Dr. Paul D. Bowles, pastor of the Nichols Hills United Methodist Church will officiate. Services under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in El Reno. The family suggests memorials be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, El Reno, Oklahoma or to the charity of the donor's choice.
