HARRIET DOROTHEA (GRABENSTEIN) SCHUTZ , 58, of 1016 Long Road in Harmon, died Sunday at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford following injuries sustained in a farming accident. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Rock Falls, with Rev. John P. Vaughn, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Harmon. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home in Rock Falls. A memorial has been established in her memory. Mrs. Schutz was born on May 5, 1929 in Eustis, Neb., the daughter of William and Emma Hauser Grabenstein. On Sept. 21, 1947 she was united in marriage to Paul R Schutz in Eustis, Neb. The deceased was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Amboy, the Amboy Home Extension, and was the Amboy Methodist Church organist. Survivors include her husband, Paul; three sons, Timothy of Harmon, Terry of Rock Falls and Craig of Chico, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Pat (Christine) McCarty of Rock Falls and Mrs. Bruce (Julie) Wheeler of Buffalo Grove; two brothers, Ray Grabenstein of Eustis, Neb., and Tony Grabenstein of Omaha, Neb.; five sisters, Helen Grabenstein of Rock Falls, Mrs. Rose Schilpp of Rock Falls, Mrs. Delmar (Ruth) Olson of Ames, Ia., Mrs. Herman (Elsie) Koch of Eustis, Neb., and Mrs. Mike (Mildred) Gengenbach of Lincoln, Neb.; also seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers.
