She was the daughter of James Chitwood and Martha White. James was a Postmaster. She is listed on page 191 of the 1840 Census of Brown Co., IN. She died sometime after this Census was taken but her exact death date is unknown. So, she may have died several years after 1840. Some researchers show 1849.
