She is definitely buried here and not at Duncan Cemetery. The Robertson Cemetery may not have a nice sign out front but it exists. Granted there are only about three or four burials. Lila (Blois) Logsdon did extensive research on this family and wrote a book on the Richards family. She found that Stephen, Winnie and their grandson Stephen are all buried here. The REMC Hydro-Ax machine tore up the cemetery and it has never been put to rights. Attached is the top of a family group sheet from her showing that Stephen is buried here. Also, a page from an early history by Fred Robertson showing the existence of the family graveyard.

Another early researcher, Gene Robertson, said the cemetery was near the cut in the hill by the railroad (see image of letter). In another letter Lila mentions the cemetery being close to the power lines. So, the cemetery is near the intersection of the railroad and the powerlines.

She was the daughter of James Chitwood and Martha White. James was a Postmaster. She is listed on page 191 of the 1840 Census of Brown Co., IN. She died sometime after this Census was taken but her exact death date is unknown. So, she may have died several years after 1840. Some researchers show 1849.
