Claude Vernon Goodwin Sr., 97, of the 5600 block of Tidewater Drive, a retired retail salesman, died March 3, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Goodwin was born in Hertford, N.C., and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Lee Goodwin; a daughter, Anne Lee Harrell of Suffolk; a son, Claude V. Goodwin Jr. of New York City; four grandchildren; and two nieces in Norfolk.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 20 Koger Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
