He graduated from Westport High School in 1969 and attended Eastern Kentucky University. He proudly gave one hundred percent to the companies for which he worked, including General Electric for 26 years, Republic Bank, Anthem and the Census Bureau.
He was a member of Southeast Christian Church, where he enjoyed volunteering at Café 920 in his spare time. He also enjoyed tennis and the brief time he worked as a lacrosse referee.
He is survived by his wife of almost 39 years, Janice Adams Bonham; four children, Erin McDaniel (Craig), Megan Bonham, Brian Bonham and Brynne Bonham; three grandchildren, Bain, Riley and Kallen; three brothers, Chris Bonham (Karen) of Crestwood, Daniel Bonham (Mary Ben) of Oxford, Ohio, David Bonham (Donna) of New Albany; a sister, Patra Rule (Ken) of Knoxville; and his loving nephews and nieces.
A celebration of his life will be conducted on Monday, April 11, 2011 at noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with inurnment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday April 10, 2011 and from 10 a.m.-noon Monday at the funeral home.
