Son of William and Ida Ramsey Snow. He married Cynthia Stovall on October 11, 1946 in Montgomery County, Arkansas. They were the parents of one daughter.

He was Montgomery County Highway Foreman for over thirty years. He was a decorated veteran of World War II, earning two Purple Hearts, two Silver Stars, and one Oak Leaf Cluster for Valor in Action.

A Sergeant in the 634th Tank Destroyer Battalion, Talmadge Snow was awarded a Silver Star for heroism in the Battle of the Bulge, 2 January 1945.

He was a beloved father, husband, and friend to many.

Survivors include his wife, of Oden; one daughter and son-in-law of Fayetteville; one granddaughter of Dallas, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and two cousins.
