Airman 1st Class Amanda J. Jotham, 19, of Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, died in an automobile accident July 11, 2010, in Badem, Germany.

Amanda was born and raised in Sarasota, and graduated with the Riverview High School Class of 2009.

Amanda is survived and loved by her mom, Carol Jotham; dad and stepmother, Tim and Kim Lennon-Jotham; stepsister and brother, Taya and Alex Lennon; grandmother, Charlotte Jotham; step-grandparents Cheryl and Harley Dillenbeck; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be at noon Tuesday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Gulf Gate Chapel, 6903 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. A private service and interment will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mote Marine Laboratory, Amanda Jotham High School Scholarship Fund, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34236, Attn: Barbara Meyer.
Amanda loved the Air Force and was proud to be serving her country. She had completed basic training and Security Forces Technical School at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. On June 22, Amanda left for Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, for her first duty assignment. Amanda is so loved and will be missed more than words can express. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be engraved in our hearts and minds forever.
