Mrs Lula Mae Langford long time resident of Abilene died in Shady Oak Lodge, where she had resided for 10 months, Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.
She was born in Motley Co. 5 Oct 1883, she attended school in Motley and Stephens Counties before she married George A. Langford in 1901. After his death in 1919 she moved from Ranger to Abilene in 1921.
Mrs. Langford had worked at the Dixie Pig for 20 years before her retirement in 1962. Her son, Charlie L. Langford, is owner of the establishment.
She a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors: Two sons, Charlie Langford & W. F. "Spot" Langford of Abilene. Three dau's: Mrs. L. E. Cook of Amarillo, Tx., Mrs. John Clowdus Of Hawthorne, and Mrs. Ralph Morgan of Ft Worth.
Seven grand-children and eight great-grand children. One son preceded her in death.
