Lanark – Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Frank funeral home, Lanark, for Edward Rahn, 50, a farmer, killed instantly when a car in which he was riding crashed into the rear end of a truck parked on Illinois highway 66 [actually, 64] near St. Charles.

Rahn was born Nov. 26, 1901, in Lanark, son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Rahn. He married Alma Force, who survives, in 1924.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Joel, at home, and Ronald, Lanark; a daughter, Mrs. William Wenzler, Champaign; a sister, Mrs. Harry Engles, Lanark; a brother, Willard, Lanark, and one grandchild.
