William J. Bushey, 69, Overland Park, KS, died October 8, 1995, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 8311 W. 93rd Street; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at D.W. Newcomer's Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf with Rosary at 7 p.m. The family suggest contributions to the church.
Mr. Bushey was born in Plattesburgh, NY, and had lived in this area for 49 years. He was a captain pilot for TWA for 41 years and retired in 1987. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion, T.A.R.P.A., TWA Se - niors Club, Holy Cross Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Lillian, of the home; a son, Donald Bushey, Atlanta, GA; daughters, Diana Rash, San Diego, CA, Deborah Bushey, Seattle, WA; brother, Clarence Bushey, Plattsburgh, NY; six grandchildren.
