Daily Sentinel Tribute Nov 26 1902 - obit
"A gloom spread over this community when it was learned that Mr. J.B. Kyser, of Latty, Paulding County, had departed this life with that dreaded disease typhoid fever. He with this estimable family left Cloverdale last spring, for a new home where he had purchased more land to till. Mr. Kyser was a carpenter and many fine architectural structures are left as monuments to his memory; he leaves innumerable relatives and friends who deeply mourn their loss. In life he was a devoted husband, a kind and loving father and an influential Christian, one that will be sadly missed by a large circle of relatives and friends, his internment took place Tuesday near his new home.
