Harriet Amelia Holt Keeble Clayton, a music teacher, was the second wife of Dr. Henry H. Clayton. They were married in Rutherford County, TN on June 24, 1874.

Hattie came to Murfreesboro at the age of 16 to Soule College. She was an especially gifted and trained musician, and for thirty years was the organist at the Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro.

She was the widow of Col. Richard H. Keeble, CSA, who died in battle in Virginia in 1864. A daughter from this union was Richie Keeble Mason (1864-1899).
