Mary Frances Hall Short, 36, and her husband, Michael Wayne Short, 50, of Bassett, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at their home.
They were co-owners of M & S Mobile Home Movers.
The double funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Martinsville Church of God with the Rev. Jackie Poe officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
Mary Frances Short was born on April 20, 1966, the daughter of Margaret Guilliams Hall of Franklin County and George Washington Hall, who is deceased.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Short; three stepsons, Kenny W. Short and Tim Short, both of Franklin County, and M.J. Short of Roanoke; two brothers, Elmer Lee Hall and George Daniel Hall, both of Franklin County; four sisters, Velma Lynch of Franklin County, Carol Whitehead of Alaska, Minnie Lou Galyean of Franklin County and Ruby Young of Martinsville; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Bassett Funeral Service.
