Veteran of World War II, Yankee Division, 26th Infantry serving in the Rhineland, Ardennes, Central Europe, England, France, Belgium and Germany. Held the Victory Medal, Bronze Cross and ribbons for European, African and Mediterranean Campaigns. A true hero in the service of his country who returned home to be struck and killed by a drunken driver.
