Oliver Clark, 86, retired farmer, died at 3:55 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, one and one-half miles south of Muncie on the Cowan Road, after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Delware County and had lived on the same farm since he was two years of age.
Surviving are four sons, Merle of Daleville, Clifford and Arthur, both of Delaware County, and Woodrow, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Lois Teal, at home, Mrs. Pauline Zimmerman and Mrs. Ruth Gibbs, both of Muncie, Mrs. Nina Morgan of Roll, and Mrs. Gladys Michael of Auburn, and 26 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, the Rev. C.M. Good, pastor of the Glad Tidings Tabernacle, in charge. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetery. The body was removed to the Meeks mortuary and will be returned to the family home, where friends may call after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon.
