John Washington Fowler was my maternal great grandfather. His son Earl was my grandfather.

I have been researching my ancestors on the Fowler side and had some questions about John Washington. Records I have found indicate he was married 3 times;
Ada Bird Brackenridge in *1884
Priscilla Daugherty Givan (date unknown) abt 1902 (I could find no record on this one, might have been common law)
Eula Martha Daugherty in 1925
Priscilla E Givan to John W Fowler, 10 November 1904 St. Louis, MO.

Also haven't found records about his daughter Berta's mother and daughter Clara's mother. Berta was born in 1882 before he married Ada. Clara was born in 1901 while he was still married to Ada. Clara was listed as Priscilla's step-daughter in her obituary notice in 1954. Was Ada Clara's mother?
