Mrs. Lou Ann Gordon died Sunday at her home in Shelby county of a complication of diseases, aged sixty-eight years. The funeral was preached at Mt. Pleasant church and the remains were buried at Fairview cemetery near Todd's Point, that county. She leaves a husband, David Gordon, and several children. She was the oldest daughter of the late Capt. Gordon Mullins, of this county. She was a sister of Colby and Gus Mullins, of this county, W.T. Mullins, of Shelby county and Mrs. Jas. Haggard, of Texas. She was a very popular woman and leaves many friends in this county, her old home, to mourn her death.
