While a young man he married Ida Worden, who died a few
years after. On Oct 12, 1902, he married Carrie Jones of Utica.
Surviving besides his widow are two sons, George of Fulton and Beryl of Prospect; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Foster of Prospect, who is now in Concord, Mass.; one half-sister, Mrs. Albert Tibbits, Utica, and two half-brothers, Leon L. Arthur, Utica, and W. M. Arthur, Rome.
Note: It appears after his death Carrie had his first wife and two children disinterred from a Russia Cemetery and reburied in Prospect.
