Funeral services for Cora Lee Hickman, Rifle, wife of Sam M. Hickman, will be held Thursday at 2:30 at the Christian church in Rifle. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Hickman, 70, died Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Glenwood Springs in Porter hospital of a broken pelvis after a six-day illness.
Cora combs was born March 4, 1878 at Ray County, Mo. She spent her childhood in Iowa and Missouri, and was married Aug. 28, 1901 at Rifle to S. M. Hickman. She made her home in the Rifle vicinity for 47 years where she was a member of the Christian church, Royal Neighbors lodge and band mothers organization.
Survivors include one daughter, Lota Hoaglund, Rifle, and two grandchildren.
