LAPORTE -- Services were held today in the Haverstock Funeral Home for Michael Scott Dowell, 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dowell, Rt. 2, Dunlap, who was killed in Sunday's tornado. He was born in Valparaiso on Nov. 28, 1962. Besides his parents he is survived by a brother, Kevin, at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Dowell of Hardinsburg, Ky., and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Bolinger of LaPorte, and his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bolinger of Logansport. Burial was in Patton Cemetery. Rev. Edward McClure, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated.
