Daisy Lemke, the daughter of Dora (Lau) and William F. Greiman was born April 4 1889 near Garner, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed as a member of Peace Reformed Church and served as church pianist until her marriage.
On March 14,1912 she was united in marriage to Henry F. Lemke making their home on a farm near her parental home, and later moved to Garner, and then in July 1922 moved to Klemme where she continued to make her home until entering the hospital in Belmond, where she died on May1, 1981.
On September 19, 1927 her husband died leaving their five children for her to rear alone, all of whom survive her. Leon C. Lemke, Garner, Iowa; Mrs Vernon(Mildredd) McLaughin of Belmond, Iowa; Donald Lemke of Klemme, Iowa; Marvin G. Lemke of Kearney, Neb.; and Mrs. Rudy (Marjorie) Hefte of Britt, Iowa.Her interest centered around her family, her home and her garden. She was dearly loved by her 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was proud to receive a life member ship in the Womens Society of Christian Service from the Klemme United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Gesswein, Mrs. Albert (Louise) Etchen; Mrs Fred (Hulda) Etchen; Mrs Carl (Martha) Swanson and 1 braother Reuben Greiman.
She was proceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
