Edith enjoyed dancing, playing cards, knitting, crocheting and attending her son's softball games for over 50 years. She was also an avid Packers, Brewers and Bucks fan. Edith played the mouth organ in a harmonica band.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert, Jr. and Connie Dickert, Manitowoc; Donald and Kathy Dickert, Green Bay; six grandchildren, Ann Komorosky, Arizona; Allen (Robyn) Dickert, Sheboygan; Teresa Dickert, Waukesha; Sean Dickert and his fiancee, Jessica Prevost, Brittany Dickert, Andrea Dickert, all of Green Bay; four great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Marisa, Tucker and Malley; two sisters-in-law, Hilda Wuellner and Margaret Kronforst. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Anton Kronforst; two sisters, Sr. Mary Gertrude and Violet Bialak; other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc, at 11 a.m. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dan Felton with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. led by Deacon Robert Drobka. The visitation will continue on Wednesday morning, April 20, 2011, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc.
The family would like to thank the second floor staff at Parkview Manor, Unity Hospice and Diane Byrd, her roommate, for their compassionate care and support given to Edith and her family.
