MAY, CLANTIE J. - age 70, of Oak Ridge, passed away Wednesday, April 17,
2002, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Ms. May was of the Baptist
faith, and was retired from Levi Strauss in Knoxville, with over twenty- five
years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. L. Moneymaker
and Edna Coward Moneymaker; husband, Harry C. May, and also by two brothers,
Howard Franklin Moneymaker and Aaron Moneymaker. She is survived by one
brother, A. L. Moneymaker, Jr., and two sisters, Louise Preisel of Clinton,
and Mary Bolton of Manassas, Va., also by several nieces and nephews. Her
family said her hobbies included painting, quilting and reading. The family
received friends Thursday evening between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Funeral
services were held at 8:00 p.m., Rev. Garvan Walls officiated. Entombment
will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
