Harry E. Brown, aged 50, formerly of Butler, died suddenly yesterday morning while at work at Ashtabula, Ohio.

Born in Washington county, February 12, 1901, a son of John E. and Bertha Hartzel Brown. Mr. Brown lived here until a year ago.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Avonell Scott of Butler, Mrs. Norma Jean Slater of Michigan, Bebe and Martha Lou Brown of Butler; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Brown of Butler R.D. 3; two brothers, Charles M. and Arthur C. Brown of Butler; five sisters, Mrs. Wilda Luton, and Mrs. Ethel Stubbs of Ashtabula, O., Mrs. Myrtle Moser and Mrs. Venus Protzman of Butler, and Mrs. Bertha Rape of Renfrew, and three grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Thompson funeral home today (Tuesday)and Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon from the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Greenawalt (Gruenwald) cemetery.
