Bobbie Sue Smith, age 77 of Idabel passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Idabel. She was born on September 23, 1933 at Madill, OK.

She was a homemaker. Bobbie Sue worked at the Lone Star Army Depot and also worked as a waitress at several area restaurants including the Rambler Café and Ray’s Steakhouse. She enjoyed fishing and going to garage sales and flea markets. Bobbie Sue was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of Idabel. Bobbie Sue was very dedicated to her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, her many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Bessie Dooley Hargis; husband, Robert “Bobby” Smith, a son Lonnie “Frosty” Gray; and a grandson, Donald Gray.

Bobbie Sue Smith is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Shirley Gray of Cloudy, OK, Randy and Carol Gray of Idabel and Danny Gray of Idabel; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Harvey Dodds of Idabel; sisters-in-law, Helen Buckley and Virgie Mullens both of Idabel; brother-in-law, John Gray Jr. of Idabel; former daughter-in-law, Barbara Maroney of Wright City; a special friend, Barbara Bean of Muskogee, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 15 2011 at Canfield Cemetery in Idabel with Sis. Sharon McKeever and Bro. Thomas Cockerham officiating.
