Alvina Anderegg Services Jan. 30
Mrs. Alvina M. Anderegg, 77, Guttenberg, died Sunday evening, Jan. 27, at Guttenbeg Municipal Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Anderegg was a teacher and aide at St. Mary's School for 17 years.
Services are to be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, by the Rev. L. R. Lechner at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial in Guttenberg City Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Anderegg, Paul Anderegg, Mark Anderegg, Todd Miller, Todd Aulwes and Don VonFumetti.
Visitation was at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderegg was born Aug. 2, 1907, in rural Guttenberg, a daughter of William and Louisa (Geick) Behrend. On Oct. 10, 1931 she was married at Guttenberg to Rae U. Anderegg, who died April 13, 1964. Mrs. Anderegg was a full-time teacher at St. Mary's Catholic School from 1967 until 1979 and since that time had been employed there as a teachers' aide.
She is survived by a son, Roger of Guttenberg; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ramonna) Miller of Dubuque and Mrs. Carl (Rita) Aulwes of Guttenberg; 11 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters, and three brothers, Elmo Behrend of Guttenberg, Francis Behrend of Colesburg and Wilmer Behrend of Waldron,Ark. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert, on Aug. 3, 1971.
