Donald J Gavin, age 75, of Reedsburg, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on May 17, 1935, in Seven Mile Creek Township, Juneau County, Wis, the son of Timothy F and Charlotte E (Judd) Gavin.

Don graduated from Mauston High School in 1953, then proudly served his country in the U S Navy during the Korean War.

Donald was a Millwright in the construction field for many years, and was a member of the Millwright Union #314 of Madison. Don enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Greene and Kathleen Dennisen.

He is survived by his sister, Marge (Roger) Brzezinsky of O'Fallon, MO; brother, Garry Gavin of Baraboo; friend, Loretta Christian of Reedsburg; several nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

Burial will be at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Lyndon Station.
