Jesse P. Williams, 85, of 1610 Randolph Ave., died Sunday in Greensboro Convalescent Center after three months of illness.
The body is at Forbis and Dick Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
A Randolph County native, Williams had been retired 16 years from Southern Railway. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 76 and of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors are widow, Mrs. Annie Fox Williams; son, J. P. Williams Jr. of Greensboro; daughters, Mrs. Peggy Johnson of Tallahassee, Fla., Mrs. Mary Sue Amos and Mrs. Betty Weber of Greensboro.
